I wanted to share some happiness with you guys, and to me Disney photos are some of the happiest images. These are from our weekend trip back in the spring. We found plane tickets for $60, planned a trip in less than 24 hours, and had THE BEST TIME. I am so thankful we went, the week after is when they closed the parks and restrictions went into place for most of the world. I will forever be grateful for that last weekend of fun and normalcy!

Fresh 48 Session

Fresh 48 Sessions are on my top for favorite photography jobs. There is so much joy and happiness when you enter the hospital room, it's the most heart warming thing seeing brand new parents with their beautiful baby. Due to Covid, I haven't been able to do any birth sessions or Fresh 48s (this session is from January) but I wanted to share because Baby Banks was the absolute sweetest and his parents always radiate love and happiness <3
Things are slowly but surely getting back to normal in NC. We are still in Phase 2 of reopening the state, but it has been nice to get out of the house a few times in the past week or so with places to go to. I've also picked back up with photography work so for that I am SUPER GRATEFUL. I had a few weddings postponed and, again, several hospital sessions canceled. I know it was for the best but it is still disheartening and my heart goes out to the brides, grooms, and parents that had things go this way.
PS: I am the worst at blogging my work but I am making it a new goal to do so! So many photography blog posts & how to's coming your way <3
Camping

We love camping. We love to hike, bike, kayak, camp, anything that's free lololol and we can do outside we LOVE IT.
The best things about camping are:
Snacks! Like, duh.
The laughs. There are usually few electronic distractions so the conversation is always great!
Not being able to hear cars or other people. Just nature. The best.
The shower the next day 😂 Ermargard the ultimate refresh. There's nothing like it haha
My sisters and sister in law will sleep in their hammocks...I cannot. Absolutely not. All I can picture is a snake or something crawling in my sleeping bag while I'm exposed. No. Tents are more my speed for sure!
