Happy October!! Last week I had another girl's night out at Fleming's to try the new Chef's Table Menu and it was, as always, SO GOOD. The Beef Wellington as a main course and Profiteroles for dessert were the two standouts, and the classic lobster mac is always a fave. This was my first time eating Beef Wellington, which is a filet mignon wrapped in a pastry and baked, and let me tell you, this non-beef girl has seen the light. All beef should come wrapped in a pastry!
This weekend is going to be super busy but in a good way. We are headed to the State Fair on Friday (don't judge me haha, I look forward to this every year!), then I am working Saturday and Sunday and we have a fam get together as well. It's funny that when I was looking for esthetician jobs a few years ago working every weekend was such a major turn off (after living that Mon-Fri life for almost a decade), but now that I am doing what I love working weekends is just part of it. I don't even mind it. It took me a little bit to figure it out, but I'm glad I found my path ♡
**Thank you Fleming's for the delicious meal c/o
