Quick Productivity Tips

So the other morning I was getting ready to sit down to work on some photos and check emails after I had made
my coffee (iced, of course) when I realized I kind of have a mental check list in place that I need in order to stay productive and stay focused. They are super simple things that together can make a big difference in my productivity and hopefully they can help you, too!

*Clean workspace. This helps not only clear my head but it also helps with my anxiety. I don't do well with clutter and tidying up for five minutes before I sit down to work helps me a lot.

*Good music. For me that can range from jazz, 90s, rap, whatever my mood needs at the time. Ex: If I'm feeling anxious I opt for jazz, sluggish the rap comes on. 

*Scents. This one sounds weird but I love my essential oils, specifically orange and peppermint for when I am working. They help with alertness and focus. 

*Moodboard. I have a wire moodboard just above my monitor that I keep filled with uplifting quotes and inspiring images. A little positivity and images that keep me focused can go a long way. 

*Daily list of to-dos. I keep daily lists in my planner to keep my mind focused on what I need to do for the day so that I stay on track. I'm a bit addicted to crossing those tasks off the is very satisfying haha!
