What to do if you can't find the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans?? Make them yourself! I would say 70% of the jeans that I own I have either destroyed or added some distressing to myself. It's so easy and can save you a lot of money! Especially if you can find your favorite brands at a thrift store or on eBay, I am constantly searching for AG, Paige, Joe's, etc. You can't beat this method. These are an old pair from Express that my mom gave me awhile back. They are a true boyfriend fit so I cut the bottom off and rolled the cuff up for a cropped length ;) If you are planning to add holes to the knee are PUT THE JEANS ON and mark where you want the slit. I use scissors and make a tiny cut, then physically tear the jeans across the knee. It makes for a better fray. Also be sure to wash and dry first, as this will get the frays out a little better. I have used sand paper and even a cheese grater to destroy in the past, but really I like the results of a small cut and physically ripping much better 👍
