Get the look: Poncho | Denim (on sale!) | Boots (on sale) | Bag (on MEGA sale!)  | Sunglasses (surprise! on sale!) | Bracelet is Pandora- it's all Disney charms I've collected over the past few years 😍

Happy Black Friday! If you go out, please be safe! There are so many crazies out there. I am staying in and avoiding stores like the plague. I wore this on Thanksgiving which didn't really feel like turkey day to me- we only went to one gathering and I (surprisingly) only had one plate. Like, what the heck?? Who was I because I wasn't Sam. We are having my immediate family's Thanksgiving meal today and I'm hosting at my house :) So excited! I'll let you know how my turkey turns out...

PS! Keep scrolling for the best online sales! Why people go out and wait in those lines when you can shop in your pjs and get the same deals is beyond me!

Stove Top Potpourri

Nov 21, 2017

stove top potpourri, essential oils, natural life, natural living

Stove top potpourri is one of my favorite little simple things to do to kick off the holiday season. It feels your home with the smell of Christmas and it's all natural! I love my B&BW candles but they give me headaches and mess with my sinuses, so this is a great option for my sensitive people :) Plus, like my husband says, what's the point in eating organic and as natural as possible and using natural skincare items if you are just going to inhale chemicals? #foodforthought

I use two cut up apples, two sticks of cinnamon, a bit of ground cinnamon, one orange or tangerine, and about 10-15 drops of orange essential oil. I fill the pot up about 1/3 of the way and let it simmer on a low heat setting. Add water as needed (please keep an eye on it!) and you can use the same potpourri for a few days, depending on how long you burn it each time. You can also add cranberries for even more of a holiday scent, I just didn't have any on hand at the time. I will try to do a few more posts on essential oils, the brands I trust, my favorite recipes/uses, etc <3
