So one of my new year's 'goals' was to put most of my effort into working out, being healthy, and my photography work, as opposed to blogging about clothes. You may have noticed fewer fashion posts (I used to post 3-5 outfits a week on here!) and that is the reason. In 10 years is it going to matter how much time and effort I put into this blog?? No. No one is going to care what we bloggers are doing in 10-15 years when we are in our late 30s and 40s. The truth hurts but it is the truth. HOWEVER! Is it going to matter in 10 years how many times a week I did cardio and pushed myself to do a littlllle bit more weight in the weight room and how fewer friend foods I ate?? HELL YES. Our health sticks with us literally our entire lives, and it's up to us how long those lives are. With that being said this is my get up 85% of the time. I go to the gym 5-6 times a week and I kick myself when I miss a day. It's been quite the lifestyle change over the past two months but it has been nothing but positive. 

PS: Here's my current favorite smoothie recipe. Sometimes it's a meal and sometimes it's a snack. I will drink one everyday until I hate the taste and come up with another concoction I can drink until I hate. Green smoothies are sooo beneficial for our health. Dark leafy greens are great for hair, skin, nails, bones, and provide lots of vitamins and nutrients. 

Daily Green Smoothie:
*1/2 banana
*1 cup nut milk
*Protein powder of you choice- I use vegan vanilla from Whole Foods, 
my husband prefers chocolate with his. 
((Sometimes I'll sub out the protein powder with non-fat Greek yogurt))
**A big handful of spinach...not sure 
how else to measure this haha
*1/2 to 1 cup ice, depending on preference
