A little back story- my husband and I started taking day trips in the fall when we were in our late teens and early twenties to go driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway to look at leaves (we were too poor to stay for the weekend haha and had jobs, school, etc) and I will forever cherish those little trips. We got lost a few times and couldn't find food once so we ate a random dirty Pizza Hut, but I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. There's nothing like a healthy dose of negative ions to boost your spirits! While the leaves on the Parkway were a little past peak, the sights were still incredible this year. I am forever in awe of God's handiwork.

Don't judge me but I have almost completed all my Christmas decorating! The inside is done and I just need to get the nerve up to go outside and put a few things out. It's just so cold and rainy haha, the thought of doing it makes my bones hurt (a little dramatic but you understand). Plus I still have pumpkins all over the porch I'll have to carry off to the woods...they won't go to waste though. The deer and squirrels will LOVE THEM. I have so many critters in my backyard that I feed, just call me Snow White. None of them are fans of spinach though, go figure.
