(Catching up on posts from our trip): For our stop in St. Thomas we took a cab to Magens Bay and spent the day snorkeling and paddleboarding. I absolutely loved
paddleboarding, the water was clear enough (even way out where it was deep) to where you could see the sea life beneath you. It was so cool watching the sea turtles- they are freakin adorable. After some sun, water fun, and rum punch, we took a cab to Charlotte Amalie to walk around the shops and grab lunch. They have some cute shops and high end jewelry stores. Apparently a lot of people buy their diamonds from here because they don't have sales tax- a jeweler told us the week before we were there they sold an 8 ct diamond to a guy who flew his private jet in to pay $80,000 for it- no big deal haha. We hadn't planned to buy anything but then we went in Tiffany & Co and I saw the Return To Tiffany bracelet (a classic!) I have loved for years and took advantage of the no tax situation and snagged it. I had a cheap sterling silver charm bracelet in my teens/early twenties so I'm excited to have the real deal and add some charms to it in the future. Anyway, this was another great stop and I would definitely love to go back. The water was beautiful, the shopping and food were great, and the people were super friendly :)
