DIY: Flocked Christmas Tree

Nov 17, 2016

I know these two ornaments don't go with the tree's theme, but I LOVE them <3

SOOO I couldn't wait any longer. I had to get the Christmas goods out! Just had to. I switched up our tree a teeny bit by buying gold ribbon and a pack of blush pink ornaments, and adding new gold sprigs at the top for a topper. All of the items were half off at Hobby Lobby and I spent less than $25 on all of them. I also switched out my tree skirt (I usually use a vintage quilt) by using a faux fur blanket that I already had :)

Like I said in my last post, I REALLY wanted a flocked tree. I just love the softness the pops of white add. BUT, I already had a perfectly good, practically brand new tree, so I got crafty. I bought some branches at Hobby Lobby and a can of Sno Blower, then the magic happened. I randomly placed them throughout the tree and love how it turned out. It isn't all white and it isn't all green, it feels like the perfect mix! I love how the tree glows now & I am obsessed with the pink, white, and gold combo💗
