Hey guys! Just wanted to do a quickie post on these two items I have recently tried :) I know these pictures are not the greatest, but this combo of soap and toner is the bomb.com.
Literally the day after we got from the beach a few weeks ago, my skin was just in turmoil. I know it was from a combination of sweating nonstop (the humidity was rough), being in the sun a lot, and eating all of the treats I could find. I wanted something to clear my skin up, but I also wanted something that would be gentle since I had been in the sun so much, so I Googled my options. Tons of people RAVE about the benefits of African Black Soap, and I just wanted to try it for myself. I used the soap with a toner I found at Whole Foods (it contains Aloe Vera and Rose, both have calming properties). Within three days my skin was back to normal- but a tad softer. The soap contains Shea Butter, which allows the soap to cleanse your skin without stripping all of your natural oils. Shea Butter is also known to be non-comedogenic (won't clog pores). The plantain extract is what helps out with the breakouts- plantain contains antibacterial properties. If you are having problem skin lately, I recommend this combo. It is very budget friendly and both items can be found at Whole Foods. The soap was $3 and the toner is around $8. I will definitely be incorporating these two items into my skincare routine in the future.
