Disney castle drawing (of my picture! Kylee is amazing!) Kylee Blackburn Art c/o
A few months ago I spent a week in Orlando with my family and we had such a great time! We spent two days at Magic Kingdom, one day at Epcot, and the remaining days by the pool or exploring Orlando. We had a blast!
Here are my Disney tips:
Take the ferry into the park. The monorail is a little quicker, maybe just a few minutes. But you will want the ferry experience. You see the entire castle in all it's magical Disney goodness when the boat is pulling up to the park and you won't want to miss that. If you must ride the monorail, ride it from the park, going back to the parking lot.
Use your FastPass! You get them free so get the rides you don't want to wait in line on set up prior to your trip and take advantage of them!
Make reservations. We ate at the Be Our Guest Restaurant and it was out of this world. Beauty and the Beast was always my favorite Disney movie and walking into that restaurant I actually cried. It was perfect. You must make reservations though! We made ours three months before the trip and still could only get a table for half of our party of 8.
Get there early. I mean before the park opens. Once the park is full they do not let anyone else in. I don't think you should have to worry about that on most days, but we were there during the busiest week of the year (the week after Christmas) so it was a concern. You will like getting there before everyone else though- we got some great pictures of the castle and Main Street before the crowds hit. It was amazing! Also, ride Space Mountain first thing if you do get there early. Otherwise there will more than likely be a really long wait...like three and half hours (oh yes, it happened. No, we didn't wait. A kind park employee gave me and my sister's Fastpasses for it).
Wear your ears! It's fun and you'll feel like a true Disneyer. Everyone wears them so don't worry about feeling silly. You're there to have fun and relax! Enjoy it <3
Do everything. I mean everything. It is such a wonderful place and so nostalgic, take it allllll in. I can't wait to go back!
