Frozen Friends {Photography}

Jan 26, 2016

My sister asked me to take a few pictures of her and her friends while we had some snow on the ground and I love how they turned out! The light was absolutely perfect, it reflected off the snow just enough for perfect skin tones. Sunset was around 5:30 and we took these about an hour to an hour and a half before then. When possible take your photos either really really early or later in the day, closer to sunset, to avoid harsh lighting and get the best results. Harsh lighting (like mid day) can really ruin your colors and make your pictures look washed out.

***I shot these with my Canon 5D Mark iii and used a 50mm f/1.8 lens.
