5 minute Budget Beauty

Jan 13, 2016

First of all, please realize that when it comes to ten extra minutes of sleep or beauty in the mornings, I choose the sleep. Always. I like to keep my makeup simple and natural and prefer to have it done in less than five minutes on the week days...which if you use the right products is plenty of time. For this five minute routine I used my favorite BB Cream and blended it with a CVS makeup sponge ($5). I swiped on some bronzer and used my $2 eyeliner (seriously just as good as Stila) to create a 'kitten' eye, much quicker/easier than the cat eye when you're in a pinch. I finished with my favorite drugstore mascara :) I kept my lip very natural and just opted for some tinted gloss. If you are looking for a budget friendly lippie I love the NYX lip colors. They wear well and for $5 you can't beat the vibrancy they give. I was actually wearing the one pictured in my last post :)

The BB Cream is a little pricey ($27 on Amazon) BUT it is amazing and gives your skin a really pretty dewy look that doesn't get oily. I do set it with a loose powder. This was one of my 'Korean beauty buys' that I promised a review on. LOVE IT. It has a nice clean smell, the packaging is simple, and it lasts all day. I do not recommend blending this with a brush, I had to use a beauty sponge but the outcome is totally worth it.

Hope you like this quickie routine!
